General Guidelines:
- You must be a current student at Sacred Heart University!
- Writers (and Artists) can submit to any two genres of their choice, but can only submit ONE piece per genre!
- We do NOT accept previously published materials.
Fiction Guidelines:
- Between 751 – 3000 words
- Fiction and creative nonfiction
Creative Nonfiction (Prose) Guidelines:
- 2000 words or less
Flash Fiction Guidelines:
- 750 words or less
Poetry Guidelines:
- 1000 words or less (total, if multiple poems or single poem)
- Single spaced
- Up to four pages
Art Guidelines:
- Digital art should be at least 300 pixels and no greater than 1024 pixels.
- JPG is the preferred file format (PNG and JPEG can be accepted, but image quality may be compromised).
- Smaller images are more likely to be used!
- 3 submissions per artist.
