HeartLines is a vibrant, inclusive community of writers united in their passion and affinity for words and language. We believe stories are the lifeblood of human history, the roots that keep us grounded, and the binding agent in the recipe that is humanity. All writing, whether fact or fiction, is a reflection of its author and their world, serving as an act of self-examination, imagination, and artistic freedom. Our mission is to provide a space where every writer is given the opportunity to make their voice heard and to share the stories that make them who they are. This edition’s theme – journeys and identity – allows writers to explore the ways in which change and personal development define us across physical, psychological, social, emotional, individual, and community aspects of the search for self.
We are pleased to spotlight the work of the young creative writers at
Notre Dame High School.
