In the basement, shadows loom, I wait,
Against the wall, in silence, contemplate.
The moon hides, veiled by clouds so vast,
But fortune fades, the shade won’t last.
Chained by fate for my transformation,
Lost control, brought devastation.
Pain surges, as the moonlight cascades,
Bones snap, as the wolf invades.
Feet elongate, fur begins to grow,
Transformation’s grip, as agony begins to flow.
Legs contort, like a creature’s plight,
Aching bones yield to the lunar light.
Eyes seek solace in the basement’s gloom,
Focused on details to banish the doom.
Yellow bucket, beneath the leaky stream,
Dripping echoes, a relentless theme.
Arms twist, bones crack in the fray,
The chest expands, in a wild display.
Face distorts, a primal shift begins,
Humanity fades, as the wolf enters from within.
Snout emerges, nose and mouth transmute,
Teeth reshape, in the darkness, they suit.
Bones break, as the transformation thrives,
In the wolf’s domain, the human survives.
Locked within, a prisoner’s curse,
Body and soul, entwined in verse.
Yearning, howling, under lunar gaze,In the basement’s confines, the wolf stays.
